Sales Development Representative

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet monthly quota by generating Qualified Sales Opportunities through lead generation/outbound activities, calling and warm lead follow up.
  • Understand Prospect needs and requirements.
  • Present and articulate product features and benefits of Kickfire analytics appliance solutions.
  • Coordinate and progress sales leads to sales opportunities through qualification process. Support regional sales teams, channel sales managers and resellers in identifying and qualifying prospects.
  • Develop sales opportunities over the internet using web-based tools, discovery calls and web-meeting presentations
  • Record and update prospect profiles in NetSuite CRM system
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Kickfire products and technologies, competitors, industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree in business, information technology, or liberal arts with additional technical experience.
  • Minimum two years experience in lead generation for technology companies.
  • Data Warehouse/Mart, BI, Analytics industry domain experience.
  • Software, SaaS, or technology appliance sales experience.
  • Experience using sales automation tools such as NetSuite, Go-To-Meeting, Sales Genius, and Marketo.

Desirable:

  • Aggressive self starter with a great attitude and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure of quota and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Manage/overcome prospect objections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for technology and ability to relate technology to business.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data marts, business intelligence and analytics.
