Kickfire’s unique SQL Chip understands SQL instructions and processes them hundreds of times faster than conventional CPUs. This delivers performance that would cost 4 to 5 times as much with conventional system configurations.

Data warehousing relies on reading large amounts of data and this means that disk heads are in constant motion. The further a disk head has to travel, the slower your queries become. Like other industry leaders, Kickfire stores its data in columns. This significantly reduces disk reads, but because we've developed a highly compressed machine readable format, Kickfire appliances optimize disk space utilization without compromising performance.

These breakthrough hardware and software components support a highly efficient data flow architecture that significantly reduces the need for additional hardware – taking up only 3 or 4 rack spaces versus 3 or 4 entire racks required by many of our competitor’s solutions.
